Heat Press Instructions for Applying DTF Transfers

1. Preheat Your Heat Press:

Set the temperature to 310°F to 320°F (155°C to 160°C).

Set the time to 10-15 seconds.

Set the pressure to medium to firm.

2. Prepare the Garment:

Lay the garment flat on the heat press platen.

Pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

3. Place the DTF Transfer:

Position the DTF transfer film on the garment with the design side facing down.

4. Apply the Transfer:

Close the heat press and press the transfer for 10-15 seconds with medium to firm pressure.

5. Cool Peel:

Allow the transfer to cool completely before peeling the carrier film. A cool peel ensures the adhesive bonds properly to the fabric.

6. Post-Press (Optional):

For added durability, cover the design with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet.

Heat press again for 5-10 seconds with medium pressure.

Additional Tips:

• Always test on a small area or sample garment if working with new materials.
• Suitable fabrics: cotton, polyester, cotton-poly blends, and other compatible textiles.
• Store DTF transfers in a cool, dry place to maintain quality.

We accept all file types, but vector files are always preferred. For raster artwork, ensure a resolution of at least 300 DPI for the best results.

Important: For vector files, make sure all text is converted to outlines to avoid font compatibility issues.

Tip: If you're using Canva export your designs as high-quality PNG files for optimal results.

DTF transfers work well on cotton, polyester, cotton-poly blends, and other compatible fabrics. They are not recommended for materials like nylon or waterproof fabrics.

10. What do I do if the transfer doesn't adhere properly?
Check the temperature, time, and pressure settings on your heat press. Ensure the garment is compatible and moisture-free before applying the transfer.

Refunds & Reprints

Contact us within 20 days of receiving your order to request a refund or reprint. We will reprint any order with a print quality or adherence issue. However, reprints will not be issued for low-quality uploaded files. Refund or reprint requests for any other reason must be reviewed and approved by management.
